The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band In a first of what will be an occasional series of ‘reinterpretations’, Rootikal’s David Hill delivers a moody rework of The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band’s debut single, with dub maestro Nick Manasseh once more at the controls. With nods to late-period Jackie Mittoo as well as the odd lick of nyahbinghi style percussion, ‘Roob Lor Pu Tai’ is given the raw Rootikal slant, bringing the band’s sound into brand new territory: 21st Century Molam in the truest sense.
